Gaststätte Akropolis in Mettingen

Picked up something there for home. The first surprise is that no card payment is possible there, which I find a shame that it should be possible in the current Corona time and hygiene concept. Unfortunately it was not as expected it was no longer correct, but in my opinion the amount was not enough either.

Sensational for a spontaneous meal. In my opinion, tzatziki and hot peppers are definitely the best in the area. But the gyros and the lamb are also excellent. I would recommend the rice rather than the fries as they get mushy quickly (at least when you pick up food). The grape leaves and the octopus are delicious.

Very, very tasty food, great service, who absolutely knows what she recommends. We would love to come back. The lamb shank, the wine sauce and the starter plate were the 🔨.

It wasn't quite as good as usual, but still worth recommending

Had the grill plate for € 16.90 ... tons of dry mountains of meat ... no tzaziki, no herb butter and at least some lemon ... but people go there because of the mountains of meat ... it has nothing to do with cooking and good cuisine ...

A very nice and cozy family company. With excellent food and a large selection of Greek specialties at good prices. You should reserve early. That alone says a lot about the quality. The staff is super friendly and warm to the guests. There are no flaws in terms of cleanliness. Even the toilet rooms are in a modern and very clean condition for their age. Here, every last detail is taken care of in order to give guests a break. At the time of the Covid19 pandemic, there are no defects here either. Additional partitions and disinfectants are available. The staff always wear a face mask. I always like to come back here. My personal recommendation is the fillet in creamy wine sauce or the ouzo plate!

Mega yummy Very flavorful. Zaziki made by myself and very, very tasty. The steak medium ordered and received super medium, also look delicious. Nice staff, nice ambience. Just a great delicious evening. :)
